YogaShare and YogaViews are free web services for yogis developed by yogis. The initiative for creating the web communities came from Janet Nicol who lives in Toronto, and Lewis Humphreys. Lewis offers rather unusual sound yoga podcasts from the beautiful Sonoran Arizona desert: www.padmasoundsystem.com.
Our intention is to create a service yoked to your creativity. We see this as an opportunity for a large community of people who have a passion for yoga to develop their practice on and off the mat.
A technical note: In gratitude for our growing sense of interconnectedness, we will illustrate the new social network with some highly complicated visualization software we're still figuring out. As each new member joins the community, our `live' social network visualization is transformed into hundreds, thousands, millions of colorful points of light. Or at least something we hope will be quite lovely and worthy of portraying what we view as astonishingly, breathtakingly ... Well the design for our site is based upon the visualization software so this gives you an idea.
